"The Rose" – A Love Story in Bloom
Every petal, every shadow, every element of this piece was chosen with great intention. I spent days photographing more than a dozen long-stem red roses—capturing over 100 images—until I found the one that felt just right. This rose had a presence, a soul. From the curve of its petals to the way it leaned with grace, I knew it was the one meant to tell this story.
This artwork was created as a heartfelt tribute, commissioned by a gentleman who wanted to name his Long Island summer home in memory of his beloved wife. Together, we envisioned something more than a decorative piece—we wanted to capture a feeling. Through thoughtful collaboration, we explored different compositions and design elements until we landed on what became the final piece—an image that now holds deep meaning and love.
The butterflies were not just a design element—they were a deeply personal and spiritual addition. He had begun to notice butterflies appearing around him, almost as if they were gently sent from beyond. In many cultures and spiritual traditions, butterflies are believed to be messengers from loved ones who have passed—a tender sign that their spirit is near, offering comfort, love, and quiet reassurance. Their presence in this artwork serves as a gentle whisper from beyond the veil… a reminder that our loved ones never truly leaves us. They transform, they watch, they linger—and they find ways to let us know they are still with us but in spirit.
Printed on luminous acrylic at 7 feet by 2 feet, "The Rose" now hangs in that home as a permanent tribute—a symbol of love that lives on.
This is one of the pieces I hold closest to my heart. If it speaks to you, I invite you to explore the rest of my portfolio. My work is rooted in emotion, nature, and storytelling—each image created with purpose, passion, and soul.

Capturing the most graceful of over a hundred photographed long-stem roses, it symbolizes love, memory, and the beauty of what remains. The butterflies—added with heartfelt meaning—represent the quiet presence of those we’ve lost, reminding us that love never truly leaves us.

Just experimenting and playing around with AI — The red rose is a symbol of the emotion of true love!

Just experimenting and playing around with AI — and this is what it created. I chose the white rose because it was my dad’s favorite flower, and he passed away. This one’s especially meaningful to me.
